Stuck..... Help!!!! Need Suggestions For Story!

The feline leapt with ease onto the wooden gate, mocking the dog that now sat below him barking its maddening words of disgust at the all too regal shadow. He was the only cat of his kind. His father was as dark as night and gave him his equally obsidian coat which shone blue in the mid-evening sun. However, his mother, a pure Siamese showgirl by the name of Prrmaos Sapphire Angel, gave him his royal blue eyes that would woo anyone into submission. His owner, so proud of his mystical looks, kept him until his passing. He went by the name of Duff under his owner’s control. Duff was now just a good-natured recluse of sorts.
His main Human now was Jerry Dacoa. He called Duff just that - Duff. He was good friends with his previous owner, and made sure everyone in the neighboring houses and businesses new the cat’s name. He would save the tenderest strips of beef, chicken and pork for the blue-eyed black cat, and as a special treat at the end of a meal, a delicate piece of liver. Part of the year, after a hunting trip in the neighboring mountain peaks, Jerry would bring back his catch of elk, deer, bison, or whatever else he could find. Bison was young Duff’s favorite treat. Jerry was responsible for Duff’s sleek, shiny coat, and he was probably the most well off ownerless cat around.
Duff idled along the top of the fence, now annoyed by the yipping flea-bag on the ground. He hopped down the other side and trotted to Jerry’s butcher shop. He couldn’t wait to sink his teeth into the tender scraps of meat! He pranced across the street and went to hop into the window to the shop, when with leap, a thump, and a fall from the confused feline; he was shooed with a broom.
This had never happened to Duff before! He had always been treated like a prince and welcomed with open arms! He licked his ruff and sat back to study what had happened. He had gone to jump into the window of his best friends butcher shop, but it was closed. Then, a lady came out and shooed him. Suddenly, he sensed something wrong. His whiskers tingled, and he had a strange feeling deep in his gut. He followed his instinct across town, over a creek, and into a field. There was a small grouping of people with shocked looks on their faces. He approached silently and cautiously. His instincts told him something bad happened, and his heart told him to go no further, but deep in him, he knew he had to see. It was the way of a cat, too be curious, and inspect new things. He took a few steps forward, and stood on his back legs. He could see the blood, and he could see the fear on the face. Jerry Dacoa was dead.
This was a problem. Duff had nowhere to go now. He had lost his source of food and friendship, and after awhile of roaming the town aimlessly, he decided to leave. He had to find a new place. He was a housecat, with a small amount of street smarts. No cat in his previous town had dared to mess with Duff, or they’d have ol’ Jerry on their tail.
He reached the edge of the forest as something small and gray scurried across his path. This startled and intrigued him. What was it? He prowled around, staying low to the ground. His dark body blended perfectly into the depths of the shadows, and his mystic blue eyes kept watchful and alert. He waited for what seemed like hours, when suddenly, it came out! He pounced on the mouse, instinctively sinking his teeth into the soft flesh, as the sweet blood filled his mouth. The mouse had barely had time to squeak before it was dead. With a few bone crunching bites, Duff gobbled it up. He daintily washed the leftover blood off his face with his paw, and was off again.
Duff slid along a deserted beaver path, down a hill to a small dammed up creek. He lapped up the water with his quick pink tongue. His eyes were closed as he enjoyed the cool, life-sustaining liquid. Suddenly, he felt something touching his nose. He opened his mysterious blue eyes, and saw he was nose to nose with an otter! This startled the feline. He fell back splat into a pile of mud, turned and ran. He ran as fast as he could, his paws barely touching the ground. A large sycamore tree caught his attention and he quickly scaled it – the bark crackling under his knife like claws.
Duff always thought water couldn’t be trusted, and now, after seeing the Loch Ness Otter, he was sure of it! What was worse, he now realized his backside was muddy. If there was one thing he hated, it was to be dirty! He hopped down from the tree and immediately started licking his fur clean. The birds chirped, and bees flew flower to flower. Duff cleaned himself up until he looked perfect, and then curled up under a tree for a cat nap.
He awoke at night. The moon shone bright as the young feline stretched and began his trek again. As most cats eyes glow gold or green, his glowed red from his Siamese heritage. This could be very dangerous for him. Many people fear black cats already, but one with red eyes would most certainly be shot and killed. He crept along the forest floor, for along while. He heard owls hooting, and wolves howling in the distance. He came to a clearing, and leapt onto a boulder for a rest. The mystical cat looked up at the stars and thought long and hard about how much his life had changed. He made a small sigh, and continued on his way.
By morning he had come to a hill above a small town in a valley. He settled down for another cat nap from a night of traveling, as the sun peaked over the foothills. The sky was a beautiful array of colors. Streaks of reds, oranges and purples danced on the clouds as they faded to blue.

The Truth About Cats ~ Human Finally Gets A Word In

Cats are of the most beautiful and intelligent creatures on earth. They are almost mystical in there own ways, like little angels sent from the heavens to watch over there "little humans."

They're pictured to some as gods, others as best friends, but to me, my Chey is the light of my life. I'd be nothing without her. Shes my angel. Shes helped me to get over the loss of my best friend. If not for Chey, I'd wouldnt be here today.

Her beauty, silliness, and her loving, kind personality were the things to get me through my grief.

When I heard about her, I was skeptical about this whole... "cat" thing, especially the day of my best friends death. I wasnt exactly a fan of cats, though my dad had Alex.

But I did agree to "look," and as they say, the rest is history.

She rode home on my lap, with her head out the window like a dog. She was extremely ill, so in a way, we nursed each other back to health, with the help of our Golden Retriever, Jewel, of course.

Dont believe me?

Her love of "the way of the dog" started from day one. She followed Jewel everywhere. What ever Jewel did, Chey did. It was the start of the best friendship I have seen between dog and cat. Their bond blossomed and grew more and more everyday, and I noticed changes in myself as well as Chey. Chey was back to her peak health, and Jewel had a new buddy. (she missed Dallas just as much as me!) Now, she is almost more dog-like then Jewel.... like the fact that she walks on her leash and fetches.

We had so much fun we were going to enter PetStar together... LOL

We've been the best of buds since, together through thick and thin.

Cheyanne is truly an angel, and I dont know what I'd do without her. A friend asked me if I had the choice to give her up to get Dallas back, would I? And I said no. I love my little Kittikins too much.

She is the perfect example of what a cat is supposed to be. Loving, smart, loyal, and more then a best friend. Some say we are like sisters. She totally changed my view on cats.

Chey means everything to me.... my life wouldnt be the same without her antics to cheer me up everyday!!

Rest In Peace Dallas.... We Love & Miss You!
